GENERAL

  • Showtimes: Saturday, October 28, 2017, 10 am – 5 pm & Sunday, October 29, 2017, 10 am – 5 pm
  • Maker Faire is a family friendly event, with lots to see and do for both adults and children.
  • Most Makers are not selling what they are exhibiting and most hands-on activities are free, however it doesn’t hurt to bring some cash should you see something for sale you just must have and for Maker Faire Calgary merchandise like shirts, posters, and the such.
  • Free parking is available at Spruce Meadows.
  • Free shuttle bus from Somerset/Bridlewood LRT. Shuttle leaves every half-hour starting at 9am and finishing at 6pm.
  • Food is available on site with both a concession and restaurant.
  • Weather will not impact the event as the majority of exhibits are indoors and we are prepared for inclement weather.
  • Strollers, and backpacks are allowed.
  • Pets are not allowed, for their safety. Service animals are welcome.

  • Groups of 15 or more qualify for a 15% discount. Click here to access the group discount.
  • Weekend Passes cannot be shared between attendees.
  • Single Day Passes can be used on Saturday OR Sunday only.
  • Tickets purchased via Eventbrite will receive an email confirmation with a link to print your eTickets from your computer. You may bring the printout of your tickets (Adobe PDF reader required to print) OR you may also add them to your mobile device via the Eventbrite app, PassBook or any PDF Reader.

Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these "makers" to show hobbies, experiments, projects.

We call it the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth - a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.
