I'm Cliff Erasmus. Art, and all it's many forms, has been an integral part of my life since I was six. Sculpture and model making however have been my main focus since 1977 when Star Wars hit the theatres...that was it, I was hooked on making my own models from scratch. I've been very fortunate to have been a Professional Model Maker since 1996 and worked full time doing so for nearly 16 years. Today it's a pastime again, with the odd commission for a collector. My favourite topics to make models of are futuristic/fantasy type vehicles and machinery. I have actually fulfilled one of my all time dream builds - a 1/1 scale R2D2 from Star Wars and a 1/1 scale Two-1B Medical Droid from Empire Strikes Back. Now I'm making a 1/350 scale (43.5 inches or 110.49cm long) replica of the USS SULACO from ALIENS.
