I'm Nicole, a 19 year old self-taught seamstress and costumer from around Innisfail, Alberta. I’ve always had a passion for dressing up, so cosplay and sewing my own clothes has been a pretty easy fit. The first article of clothing I made was a long sleeved dress with a gathered skirt I sewed by hand out of scrap fabric. My love affair with making dresses bloomed from there. I've made cosplay costumes for myself (Frozen: Anna & Elsa, Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon 2, Cinderella (Lily James), Agent Carter (dress from the poster)) and worn some of them to the Saskatoon, Red Deer and Edmonton Comic and Entertainment Expos. I've also created costumes for Zap! Theater. My favourite project so far is my Lily James Cinderella ball gown, it's the most complicated dress I've attempted to date.
